From the wise words of Hodding Carter, we believe that “two of the greatest gifts we can give our children are roots and wings.” Rather than giving them toys, we want to gift them the ability to explore a new place every day and see what the world has to offer.

Sophie’s Mission
Turning travel passions into travel plans
In today’s world, the majority of us are stuck in the day-to-day grind. We wake up, complete that day’s to-dos, go home, then repeat the next morning. Before you know it, you look back 6 months and wonder why you never put time aside to try or see something new. Why run around like crazy to try and get stuff done and leave no time to spend with family and do what you really love?
As family travel bloggers, we love exploring new places that keep us on the edge of our seats. In an age where it’s so easy to capture special moments on camera, seeing it from a different lens can make it something special.
We believe that life is best explored through a child’s eyes because there’s magic, joy, and exciting adventure. Trust us, we’ve been there. We’ve worked long hours, looked out the window, and dreamed of everything else that we wished we were doing. We decided that, for Sophie’s sake, it was time to make a change, put back control in our lives, and begin new adventures.
Now, our dynamic family of 4 takes every opportunity to discover a new place and capture every moment through Sophie’s eyes. At the end of the day, everything you decide to buy or do enables you to do what you need in your life. Don’t second guess your decisions, take life by the reins, and ride like the wind!

We would rather go on a trip and explore a new place than opening a gift. Instead of spending money on toys that would eventually break, we want to discover the world’s beauty and cherish memories that will last forever. Sophie says she wants to live life

Think about it, we only have so much time to do what we want to do in our lives. Do you want to make a change or try something new? We’ve been there, and we chose not to keep Sophie from seeing what this world has to offer. Don’t let time fly by and make the most of it!
